Supporting safe, stable housing for Ho-Chunk families.

Access rental assistance and home repair programs designed to help eligible Ho-Chunk Nation members maintain safe, affordable housing.

Housing Rental Assistance Programs

Provides one-time rental assistance to help income-eligible Ho-Chunk Nation members maintain stable housing during periods of financial hardship.

May include:

Up to one month's rent
Assistance paid directly to landlords
Available once per year

Provides one-time move-in assistance to help eligible low-income tribal households quickly secure stable housing.

May include:

Security deposits
First month's rent
Eligible move-in costs

Provides monthly rental assistance for eligible Ho-Chunk Nation members living in approved urban service areas.

Supports eligible Ho-Chunk Nation students by connecting them with rental assistance resources while pursuing post-secondary education.

Applications are submitted through the Ho-Chunk Nation Education Department.

Thank you for your interest in HHCDA assistance programs. Due to high community demand, available slots for some assistance programs have currently been filled.

At this time, we are no longer accepting new applications for those programs until additional openings or funding become available.

We understand that housing and financial support needs can change quickly, and we are actively working to identify additional resources and future funding opportunities to continue supporting Ho-Chunk families and community members.
